Our team celebrated the start of the second planting season with our launch event.
The event attracted over 60 people, keeping our restoration team busy with tree ID activities, guided walks to discuss our planting efforts, and bird box building workshops. In addition, we had a group of local artists who helped communicate the project via woodland craft activities and cosy storytelling sessions.
The event was a great opportunity to share the importance of our project and our hopes for its success. We also received valuable feedback from people who attended the event, which will help us in our ongoing work.
As a result of today’s success, we’re excited to share with more people at our next event and look forward to bringing our outreach efforts to life.
