First time sharing project experience with industry pros…
Our Derbyshire Dales National Nature Reserve (NNR) team trained Derbyshire Wildlife Trust site managers at Lathkill Dale. The day included an introduction to the Derbyshire Dales NNR, an overview of conservation work in the area, and a how-to on spotting ash dieback.
It’s important for us to share our knowledge with others in the industry, to increase awareness. It will also help equip site managers with the skills and knowledge they need to protect our precious woodlands impacted by ash dieback.
We’ll organise site visits throughout the project to demonstrate our restoration efforts and unique approach. Feel free to email lifeintheravines@naturalengland.org.uk to arrange a visit.
